Description

SynergySorb® sorbent products for solid surfaces are designed to prevent oil spills during oil extraction and transportation, production, and repair. These sorbent products have high mechanical strength, which explains their use in industry, auto repair shops and motive power depots without interrupting the processes of production, service and repair.

Due to the unique properties of the sorbent material, the oil and petroleum products are absorbed and bonded fully, which prevents any desorption. It ensures that no slippery oil film is left in the areas, providing a safe and hygienic working environment.

SynergySorb® sorbent products for solid surfaces are laid in the supposed leak areas, including difficult to access areas of the industrial equipment, or directly on the leaked oil spots. It is possible to walk on and put equipment, machines and units on the sorbent products for solid surfaces, as well as to lay them under the barrels, drums, and other containers.

The control of the oil saturation of the sorbent products is achieved through regular visual checks, according to the volume and rate of the inflow of oil to be absorbed. Sorbent products are turned upside-down, moved, or replaced due to saturation or wear of the outer layer. The sorbent products do not require any special precautions during use.

The important advantage of SynergySorb® sorbent products is their environmental safety, which is the maximum possible among sorbents. The consumer also has no problem with waste recycling – the oil-saturated waste sorbent products are sent through the dealer to the manufacturer for recycling and further use in the production process.

Properties

SynergySorb® sorbent products for solid surfaces are made of a variety of SynergySorb® SP-150 sorbents enclosed in an outer non-woven polymeric material, which has a high mechanical strength and good permeability for oil and petroleum products.

SynergySorb® sorbent products belong to the group of hardly flammable combustible materials in their initial state, and the group of average flammable combustible materials in their oil-saturated state. It is not toxic and does not release harmful substances when coming into contact with air and water. According to their degree of impact on the environment (phytotoxicity) and humans (toxicity), the sorbent products belong to the low hazard class both in their original and oil-saturated states.

Hydrocarbon-saturated waste sorbent products are not waste, so they do not require special storage containers and are sent through the dealer to the manufacturer for further use in the production process.

SynergySorb® sorbent products comply with the technical conditions TU BY 490850780.002-2014.
